Barrie was really lucky in landing Alliance Billards as their venue for watching the matches. The owners, Gary and Nancy Sinclair, get up at all hours even after a late night working in the pub to open up in time for the matches. They've been there since the beginning of the club and we hope they'll be there for many years to come. (Which is likely seeing as they both know the words to every Celtic song!) For the 2006-2007 season, the Barrie club has decided that Nancy is now no longer allowed to choose a favourite player seeing as they keep leaving (Nancy was a big fan of both Henrik Larsson and Craig Bellamy). She may be lucky at picking the winning 50/50 ticket but at players she's a jinx! Our thanks to Gary and Nancy for tolerating us and our crazy antics, not everyone is that cheerful at 7:00am!!
